Education

Education

While the City of Mesa does not control the education budget we do our part to help out with Mesa Public Schools. We received $90 million in Covid funds to boost our economy. We put a good portion of this money to use to buy laptops for the school district so the students could work remotely.

Given that education is the great equalizer in our society I think it’s important that we figure out how to get through this difficult situation together.

Education is the great equalizer in our society

Education is the great equalizer in our society. We are partnering with Mesa Schools to purchase laptops for students so they can continue their education remotely. Education is essential and we have to find solutions to allow our students to keep learning as Covid-19 locks down our schools.
