Paul Weigel brings long-term progressive thought-leadership to his candidacy as a Senator for LD 25. He’s an executive, small-business owner, and college professor at Mesa Community College and Park University.Paul has new ideas for how the Senate can work across party lines and find solutions that are lost with one-party leadership.
Statement
Our future cannot be limited by old ideas. I love Mesa and I love Arizona. But our leadership is committed to old ideas from the last century. We have a state paralyzed by long-term leadership without the ability to work across party lines with a commitment to our shared future — now’s the time for a change. Our education system is fundamentally flawed, where our teachers are paid 47th out of 50 states for our public K-12 schools. Your hard-earned tax dollars go into the pockets of private companies rather than teachers improving the future of our students. Our great state is rich in natural resources and beauty. We need to expand our investment in renewable resources ensuring Arizona will lead the nation in transition from fossil fuels. We can profit from our resources while ensuring future generations inherit a sustainable economy and ecosystem. We must recognize the importance of equality – that women are equal to men, that all races, colors and creeds have the same access to the same resources, and are paid equally. I have a plan for how to work across party lines to find solutions for 2020 and beyond. Arizona deserves better.

Statement
Tyler Pace was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where he attended Mesa Public Schools. Tyler is a passionate entrepreneur who has created jobs in Mesa. During his first term in the Senate, he has fought job killing regulations and big government spending. As a healthcare expert, he has fought for patients rights and has been a helpful expert during the current health crises. In addition he has been a strong conservative voice for families, small businesses, and has fought passionately on behalf of the residents of Mesa. Tyler is a proud husband, father, and conservative voice in the Arizona legislature. If re-elected, he will continue to be a champion for Mesa at the Arizona Capitol.
